Abstract:

Snapshot photograph album documenting the social life and other leisure activities of a young woman, her friends and family in Southern California. Includes many scenes taken on beaches, in the mountains and other outdoor locations. Many scenes are from Camp Baldy (now Mount Baldy). Other identified California locations include Laguna Beach, Venice Beach and San Diego. Also includes scenes of college life, and a few views of Columbia University. Although she is unidentified, the likely photographer and compiler of the album is depicted throughout. Among the identified persons depicted are Sara McLeod, Marion Krebs, Gladys Fish, Kat Stewart and Helen McPherson.
